Work — Vol. 01
Speculative
& R&D
The studio launched in 2026, so everything here is self-initiated. We wrote the briefs, set the constraints and held ourselves to the deadline. No client engagement is implied by any project below.
Each entry documents the brief, the approach and what actually came out of it — including the parts that did not work.

Terracotta Hours
Packaging and art direction for a speculative ceramics house
The brief
An exercise in material honesty. We asked what a premium ceramics brand looks like when the budget for foil, lamination and studio lighting is removed entirely.
Approach
- 01Specified a single uncoated board stock with a structural fold that removes the need for adhesive or inserts.
- 02Art-directed the full range on one windowsill across a day, letting the shadow position date each shot.
- 03Set all secondary information in a monospace so the packaging reads like a shipping document.
Outcome
A twelve-SKU packaging range, an art-direction guide, and a shot list any photographer can reproduce.
